Alessandro Baroni Kalos

Alessandro Baroni Kalos is an interdisciplinary artist working across social design, film, and visual anthropology.
His practice explores the intersections of social norms, freedom, community, and kinship, with a particular interest in alternative and speculative forms of society and relationships.

Rather than working within a single medium, his practice is shaped by the context, question, and relationships that emerge through each project. He approaches his research through different strategies, including fictional film, visual storytelling, social design, and visual arts, using these forms to investigate how collective values, cultural structures, and social conventions shape both individual and shared experiences.

Originally from Italy and currently based in Berlin, Alessandro holds an MA in Social Design from Design School Kolding (2023). His practice develops through international collaborations and research across Denmark, Italy, and Germany.
