Giocare in casa is a short film documenting the lives of Lorenzo and Luca as they explore and engage in outdoor activities in the rural and mountainous landscapes of Biella.
The title, Giocare in casa, draws from the football concept of “home advantage” (in Italian “giocare in casa”), the idea that a team can benefit from factors such as familiarity with the venue, support from local fans, and psychological confidence that comes from competing on familiar ground.
The film pivots on this notion, observing the boys’ playful and intimate engagement with their surroundings. At the same time, Giocare in casa literally evokes the act of playing, emphasizing how their daily activities transform the landscape into a continuous, extended playground.
